Melanie will team up with the wonderful Helga Jermy to do a double reading at Fuller's Bookshop in Hobart. Helga's book Following the Ink is a zuihistu—a kind of lyric essay—in which the poet journeys through Japan, reflecting on themes of belonging, otherness, modernity, youth and aging, and love. Melanie and Helga will discuss their books and read a selection of poetry. There is a small cover charge, which includes a welcome drink. Come along to hear Melanie in conversation with Professor Evonne Miller about Melanie's stunning debut collection All That Could Be Lost. Entry to the event is free, but you have the option of treating yourself to a paid ticket, which includes a signed copy of All That Could Be Lost and a welcome drink
